Angel tattoos are becoming extremely popular by the year. It does help that tattoos are becoming extremely popular with women. A report shows that women are getting more tattoos then men, so angels becoming one of the most popular designs to get isn’t shocking. As much as angel tattoos are popular among women, men do get these types of tattoos. Men get angel tattoos to show how proud they are to show of someone that passed away or their religion. Or they just get an angel tattoo because they do look pretty cool.

Angel tattoos represent religious or spiritual individuals. Because the word angel comes from the greek word “aggelo” (means to pass along), people think it represents something related to god. God represents peace and kindness, so most people want to get an angel tattoo to represent the same definitions. The most common type of angels are with wings flying in the air towards the sky. Some people get a specific angel from the bible because they are fascinated with that angel. Another type of tattoo that is common is getting wings on their shoulders to represent they have the same features and meanings of an angel. Some angel tattoos don’t always represent good. People do get evil type of angel tattoos. A form of an angel with blood, swords, or skulls in some shape and form. But overall most angel tattoos are meant to get inked for the good reasons.

If you are going to get a tattoo, we do recommend getting an angel tattoo. Most of the time people like angel tattoos and people won’t judge you for getting a tattoo. Most people getting a tattoo don’t care what others think, but the people that do you should get an angel tattoo. It shows that you mean well. If you do get a larger type of angel tattoo remember that most tattoos are some what permanent, especially bigger tattoos which are harder to get rid of.

So we found out about this neat trick you can get for only $5. Yeah you have to pay a very small fee of five dollars, but it’s best to see what your tattoo will look on you if you are up in the air about it. Five dollars to see what a few hundred dollar tattoo will look on you is a pretty good deal if you ask me. That’s not even including the cost of removing the tattoo if you didn’t like the design of the tattoo. Our recommendation, pay this small $5 fee to see what a tattoo looks like on you first. So enough of the rambling, right? Let me get straight to the point now!

Step 1: Head over to Fiverr.com

Step 2: Type in the search box “tattoos” or something along the lines of “tattoo preview”.

Step 3: You should see a bunch of listings for a bunch of services related to tattoos. Look for something that says along the lines of “Show you what you look like in a tattoo”.

Step 4: Select a service that you like and order from them.

Step 5: You will just have to send a picture of the area you want to get tattooed and they will then send it back to you within a couple days. That’s it!

Top 10 Most Popular Types of Tattoos

Tattoos are interesting because you can get so creative with it, the ideas are limitless. You can literally get anything tattooed on your body. But a lot of the time people don’t know what to get as their first tattoo, so they get something small and something most people have. We are going to list the top 10 most popular types of tattoos people get.

1. Tribal – Everyone loves this type of design. It might not be the same exact tribal tattoo but it has some resemblance. Not sure what makes it so interesting, maybe it’s that savage type of look.

2. Cross – This is very close to the tribal tattoo, it is extremely popular. Not just for goths, but mostly popular with people that are religious. They want to show off their cross to show how committed they are to god or to their religion. A lot of people that are Irish get the cross, it’s extremely popular with the Irish.

3. Stars – Most people that are just getting a tattoo get a small star. They don’t know what they want but they want a tattoo. Since they don’t know what kind of tattoo they want, they get something small so if they made a mistake it’s not a huge mistake.

4. Names/R.I.P. – I feel like this should be higher on the list because you always see people with names on their body. Most of the time its a loved one or a family member that has passed away and they want to honor them by getting their name inked on their body. This is extremely popular because even people that don’t get tattoos at all still want to remember the ones that passed away, so they get RIP tattoo.

5. Angels – Angels are very popular with women and people who are religious. You can get very creative with angel tattoos to represent the kind of person you are.

6. Asian Lettering/Kanji – I personally don’t understand this, but people like to get their name or a saying/phrase in a different language. Sometimes its not a name or phrase and its just a symbol of what you represent. This category could be the same as Names/RIP but most of the time it is a saying or phrase. People getting their first tattoo usually get this done because it doesn’t need to be large or noticeable.

7. Lion/Tiger – I know many people with a lion tattoo, they were very popular in the 80′s and 90′s. Still popular today, when someone gets a lion inked on their body it represents strong, brave, and fearless individual.

8.  Butterfly – Butterfly’s are extremely popular with females. The females that usually don’t get a bunch of tattoos will get a butterfly. It’s cute, small, and nothing crazy. They won’t feel like their being judged by getting this small and harmless tattoo.

9.  Skull – Skulls are popular with males. It shows how tough they are and show no weakness. Again, its popular among people that are just getting their first tattoo.

10. Eagle – Eagles are popular among people that want to show how proud they are of their country (America). It usually is popular among men and women that have served in the military.

Looking For Tattoo Designs? Look No More!

You are ready to get a tattoo and found the right tattoo artist. But what design do you get? This is something that is hard to decide on if its your first tattoo. If you already have multiple tattoos then this should be a little more easy for you since you have gone through this multiple times.

Few suggestions on where to get your first design. Think about what you like and what you will feel proud to wear for almost he rest of your life, unless you get it removed. You can search those terms on google and look at images. Look for a clean design or even a picture of what you want. If its just a real picture of something, take it to the tattoo artist and they should be able to work something with that. If its a design with coloring and all, print that picture out and bring it to the tattoo artist.

You can also ask the tattoo artist if they have any free designs you can choose from. Most of the time they will have a book with thousands of designs for you to choose for free!
